The Safari costs are fundamental in making Uganda a more competitive tourism destination as compared to the other East African Countries like Kenya and Tanzania for low end or modest travellers.
According to Tour Operators and Travel agents operating in several countries of the great lakes region, a tourist gets better value for money in Uganda than it neighbouring countries.
Though, the Tourism Industry is dissatisfied by the low investment in facilities and services to attract more mid-range and luxury traveller.
With better facilities, more tourists would choose Uganda over Kenya and Tanzania.
