Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
When you reach in Nairobi, our guide will warmly welcome you, and pick you from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, (we suggest you arrive in the morning) he will brief you about your trip, where you will go, what to expect and also he will be answering your questions and will be with you until the end of the trip.
You will immediately be driven to the park. The park is located in Kenya’s Rift Valley Province in Narok Sub County. It’s commonly known as Mara by the indigenous Maasai People. It is one of the biggest parks in the country established in 1961 covering over 1510sqkm. The park is famous for the large numbers of wildlife species and birds, great savannah, rivers, valleys and unique tree species. Maasai Mara is part of the Great Mara Ecosystem. Maasai Mara Park and Serengeti National park of Kenya have a lot in common. A major one being the great migration that attracts a lot of people in the park to view these amazing animals. Enjoy the scenic views of the rift Valley, and other physical features of which you may stop to have better views.
On reaching the park, your will check in your accommodation place where you will be just in time for lunch before heading on to the afternoon game drive in the park.
After a moment of relaxation, you will be on search for wildlife. The big five and predators will be seen concentrating around the Mara River that has a large concentration of animals, that is lions, leopards, wild beasts, elephants, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, Thomson’s gazelles, cape buffalos, rhinoceros, bat eared foxes, hippos, topi, Grant’s gazelles, impalas, duiker, among others, and not forgetting the different species of birds such long crested eagles, vultures, hornbills, secretary birds, lilac breasted roller, ostriches, African Pygmy falcons, Jackson’s bustards, Marabou storks, guinea fowls, Pel’s fishing owls, and black bellied Hartlaubs bustards that will be in your face. Look out for the best views of them.
There’s also an air balloon Safari which you might choose to enjoy at a supplementary fee. You will have wonderful views of wildlife, vegetation, trees from above and clear images of the park can be got.
The game drive will be for the rest of the day, the guide will be taking you to different corners of the park as you will enjoying what you will see. Wildlife in the park isn’t hard to see, whichever side you take, await abundant wildlife. Enjoy the fierce and humble animals as you take videos and photos of them especially during the great migration. At the end of the game drive, you will be returned to your place of accommodation and you will relax with fresh memories of all that you saw in the park.

Day 2: Full Day game drive at Maasai Mara
After your breakfast, with your packed lunch (to avoid returning for lunch) you will head on to a morning drive in the park, to find animals before they head on search for food. You will have more of what you saw yesterday. Guides know exactly what to do and from where you will park, animals will be clearly see. You will also enjoy birds in the area, so look out for them. When lunch time clocks, he will drive you to a very nice spot that is in great view of the surroundings. After, you will relax while taking a walk safari and then embark on a game drive again.
On this day if you visit the park in July, you will be amazed by the great migration. You will see millions of wildebeests, and Zebras, and other predators that follow them creating their way from Serengeti National Park to Maasai Mara. You will take pictures and videos of this view which only occurs once a year.
After your visit, you will be driven back to your place of accommodation for dinner and rest.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Naivasha
After your breakfast, with your packed lunch, you will embark on a journey to Lake Naivasha.
To have a wonderful time on the lake, you got to take this opportunity and take a guided boat ride. You will explore the lake as you enjoy views of wildlife at the shores of the lake, and not forgetting the various bird species. Over 400speceies of birds have been in sight of tourists. Giraffes, buffalos, zebras, can be seen on the shores of the lake. Colobus monkeys also check out the river. The lake lies at the greatest point of the Great Rift Valley and during drought it shrinks.
You will have lunch at the shores of the lake or on the boat in the company of bird species and animals that enjoy water. You will also have a guided nature walk at Crescent Island.
Accommodation will be at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
After your breakfast, with your packed lunch, you will be transferred to Amboseli National Park. The Park is lies closest to Nairobi City, and it was formerly called Maasai Amboseli National Park. It was established as a national in 1914 and covers over 392sqkm. It rests in the Southern Part of Kenya along the border with Tanzania. The Maasai people are the closest ethnic group to the park. The park has swamps, wildlife, birds, among others. The park is famous for large herd’s views of free range elephants and also Mountain Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. The park has water holes that pore in the swamps, and have continuously supplied wildlife and birds with water.
When you reach the park, you will also have to concentrate on having clear views of Kilimanjaro National Park, you will have a game drive in search for wildlife in the park. On your game drive, await to see wildlife such as elephants, impala, cheetahs, lions, leopards, Maasai giraffes, hyenas, blue wildebeest, Cape buffalo, African crocodiles, zebras, monkeys, baboons, among other primates.
You will also have amazing views of birds such as buffalo weavers, palm nut vultures, red and yellow bishops, African skimmers, pelicans, kingfishers among others. These you will enjoy along your game drives.
After exhausting your time in the park and enjoying the cool and wilderness environment, you will be taken to your place of accommodation to relax and have dinner.

Day 5: Game drive an return to Nairobi
On the last day of your trip, you will have a cup of coffee, and then head on a game drive before sunrise. You will be able to see wildlife before you go. You will see predators trying to plan for their meal of the day. You will then return to the park, have late breakfast and then you will be driven to the airport in Nairobi to catch your flight.
End of your 5 Days Safari in Kenya.
