4 Days Murchison Falls and Jinja Source of the River Nile Tour

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Following breakfast at your accommodation in Kampala, our company representative will pick you up and drive you to the Murchison falls National Park through Masindi. Along the way you will visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will have a guided nature walk to track the Rhinos. Drive on to Masindi town where you will have your lunch. Eventually you will enter the Park via the Kichumbanyobo gate and proceed to the Top of the falls to see the spot where this park was named after. At the top of the waterfalls, you will observe the water thunderously exploding through a small gorge and then flow down into a very peaceful river whose water banks are swarmed with a profusion of animals plus birds. Dine and overnight rest at Red Chili campsite, Nile Safari Camp, Paraa Safari Lodge or Sambiya River Lodge

Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise
In the morning you will have breakfast before going for a game drive in the park’s Northern area. There you will search for the big 5 animals including Buffaloes, Lions, Elephants, and if fortunate even see a Leopard. Other animals you will see include: Rothschild giraffes, Bushbucks, Warthogs, Waterbuck, plus a great diversity of other Antelopes in large numbers. At lunchtime you will return to the lodge and later in the afternoon go for the thrilling launch cruise down the Nile. You will sail close to the bottom of the falls and on this cruise you will see various birds, numerous hippos and giant crocodiles plus some other animals grazing close to the banks. If fortunate, you may see the uncommon shoe bill stork plus various other bird species within this area. Dine and overnight rest at Red Chili campsite, Nile Safari Camp, Paraa Safari Lodge or Sambiya River Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Jinja
Right After breakfast, you will drive to Jinja having lunch in Kampala city. Once in Jinja, you will explore the Source of the Nile which was actually discovered by the legend John Hanning Speak. The Nile is Africa’s Longest River, and it flows northwards of the continent through Egypt and pour into the large Mediterranean Sea. Dine and overnight rest at Haven Lodge, or Nile Anchors Palace or Jinja Nile Resort

Day 4: Water Rafting in Jinja and transfer to Kampala
After your breakfast, you will head out for an entire day’s adventure rafting the River Nile. You’ll be provided with the required equipments plus training necessary for the thrilling activity. white water rafting can be enjoyed by anyone of 16 and above years of age. At the end of this adventure you will return to Kampala and be drop off at your Hotel with Kampala or transfer to the Airport for your departure flight.
