Day 1: Pickup and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Your journey begins as our Kori Safaris driver collects you from Kampala or Entebbe Airport. En route to Bwindi, savor picturesque stops in the countryside and capture memories at the equator crossing. You will go through the captivating landscapes of Kigezi hills and Kisoro valleys, arriving in the southern sector of Bwindi in the late afternoon. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Nkuringo Gorilla Camp, Lake Mulehe Lodge, or Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge, Wagtail Eco Safari Camp, or Gorilla Mist Camp, or Buhoma Community Bandas, or Gorilla Resort.

Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience
Early morning, after breakfast, attend a briefing at the park offices to learn about the upcoming Gorilla Habituation Experience. Accompanied by Rangers, Trackers, and Researchers, embark on a day-long trek into the forest. Unlike traditional gorilla tracking, this experience offers four hours with the gorillas, allowing for a deeper connection with these incredible primates. Immerse yourself in the forest’s sights and sounds, participating in activities like making gorilla calls and observing researchers. After the encounter, return to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at your chosen accommodation.

Day 3: Departure to Entebbe or Kampala
After an early breakfast, start the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport with stops at the equator crossing and for lunch along the way.
