Detailed Itinerary for a 1 Day Gorilla tour in Uganda
Pick up from your hotel in Kisoro or Kabale at 6:00am after breakfast and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park, arrive in time for a briefing at the park headquarters. Carry enough drinking water and snacks or packed lunch because the trek is quiet strenuous, and can take 2 – 8 hours depending on how these gentle giants move in their natural habitat. In this case, you are advised to hire a porter (from $10) to assist you during the trek. This is a direct creation of employment opportunities to the local community, and conservation of mountain gorillas and their habitat.
